Support Our Work

Skilled Worker Justice Alliance (SWJA) is an independent initiative focused on research, evidence preparation and policy engagement relating to Skilled Worker settlement reform.

Why support exists

Contributions help meet the practical costs of maintaining SWJA's public materials, evidence preparation, web operations and ongoing analytical work.

Independence and no influence

Voluntary support for SWJA is received through the company account of Skilled Worker Justice Alliance Ltd and is used only for operational costs connected to publication administration, evidence preparation, communications and technical upkeep.

Support does not confer editorial influence, service entitlement, representation, legal advice or control over publication priorities. SWJA's research conclusions, correction process and publication decisions remain independently controlled.

Not legal advice or representation

SWJA does not provide legal, immigration or professional advice through support arrangements or voluntary contributions. Support does not create a client relationship, representative relationship or casework service.

Charitable status and tax treatment

Transfers are not currently processed through a registered charity donation platform and should not be treated as charitable donations for tax purposes unless separately confirmed in writing.

What costs are covered

SWJA's costs are modest but recurring. Contributions help meet operational requirements needed to keep materials accessible, maintain publication quality and support evidence-led policy engagement.

  • Website hosting, domain management, security, accessibility and website maintenance.
  • Company administration, Companies House filings, annual confirmation statements and related operational compliance costs.
  • Research, drafting, checking and document-production tools used for document preparation. All published materials remain subject to human editorial control, source verification and correction policy.
  • Evidence preparation, PDF production, document formatting, citation checking and records management.
  • Reference management, data organisation and publication infrastructure.
  • Outreach, correspondence and policy engagement connected to Skilled Worker settlement reform.
  • Design, technical upkeep and occasional support needed to keep the website and publication system reliable.
