Support our work

Skilled Worker Justice Alliance (SWJA) is an independent initiative focused on research, evidence preparation and policy engagement relating to Skilled Worker settlement reform.

Contributions help support the practical infrastructure behind SWJA's publication archive, evidence preparation, web operations and ongoing analytical work.

Support arrangements and transparency

Support for SWJA currently operates through a dedicated UK account used exclusively for publication, research, company administration, web operations and evidence preparation costs relating to ongoing analytical work.

At this stage, contributions are received through the named beneficiary account below. This arrangement is transitional and will be reviewed as SWJA's support infrastructure develops and the project moves toward a more formal organisational and financial structure.

Important note

Support is voluntary and does not create any entitlement to services, advice, representation, publication decisions or influence over SWJA's research position. SWJA publications and correspondence remain independently prepared and editorially controlled.

Transfers are not currently processed through a registered charity donation platform and should not be treated as charitable donations for tax purposes unless separately confirmed in writing.

What contributions support

SWJA's costs are modest but recurring. Contributions help meet the operational requirements needed to keep the archive accessible, maintain publication quality and support evidence-led policy engagement.

  • Website hosting, domain management, security, accessibility and archive maintenance.
  • Company administration, Companies House filings, annual confirmation statements and related operational compliance costs.
  • AI-assisted research and productivity subscriptions used for document preparation, drafting support, checking and publication workflow management.
  • Evidence preparation, PDF production, document formatting, citation checking and records management.
  • Research tools, reference management, data organisation and publication infrastructure.
  • Outreach, correspondence and policy engagement connected to Skilled Worker settlement reform.
  • Design, technical upkeep and occasional support needed to keep the website and publication system reliable.
